Located in the heart of downtown Troy, Collar City Hard Pressed sits at 215 Broadway, between The Grocery and Peck’s Arcade in the magnificent Clark Building. The small space was built with reclaimed wood, marble, and slate, and is the perfect backdrop for consuming consciously.
Our menu is entirely vegan, not because we are, but because we don’t believe raw vegetables and fruit need much to taste amazing. We start with the freshest ingredients and instead of having a big menu, we just try to have a really good one. Whenever possible, we source our ingredients locally and often organically. We do not plan to become certified organic, but many of our ingredients are often certified organic or from farms that follow organic practices. Some, like bananas, are not. While our menu is small, we love getting creative with our customers and coming up with recipes to suit you. Our juices are made to order, and because of that, can be made to your liking. Want a Cassidy but hate celery? Tell us, and we’ll come up with something right for you.
Troy is not just where we happen to have a space, it’s exactly where we want to be. We love our community and have partnered with many of our neighbors like Collar City Candle, Nibble, Inc., and the Lucas Confectionery.
Consuming consciously is easy when you get your juice from CCHP. We buy all of our produce in small batches so there is zero food waste. All of our juice pulp either goes to local pasture farms for pig feed, or is composted by Empire Zero, LLC. If you would like to inquire about juice pulp for your garden or farm, email us at collarcityhardpressed.com with PULP in the subject.
